Positive: We've stayed at this hotel several times, the location is good, not far off the motorway. Our room was newly refurbished, very comfortable and quiet, although not on the garden side so not so nice a view. The evening meal was very good.
Negative: Our welcome was a bit lukewarm, on previous visits it's always been been very good. After we'd checked in, we were then told that our room wouldn't be ready for an hour at least! Thankfully it was a nice afternoon so we went for a walk around the nearby lake instead while we waited.
